Cub Scout Day Camp
Adam returned home from Lake Powell with a very busy few days scheduled for him. Saturday morning we all headed to the ballpark for the Farm League Championship Game between the Orioles and the Diamondbacks. We are sad to say that the Orioles lost, but it was a fantastic game and Adam played very well behind the plate! After we got home from the game it was time to prepare Adam for Cub Scout Camp! He headed to camp with his Pack and enjoyed a day of swimming, crafts and earning badges.
Orioles Team Party
This afternoon we enjoyed a pool party celebrating an amazing baseball season. The team lost two games all year. They truly had a lot to be proud of. We took cupcakes for the team to help Adam celebrate his 9th birthday. They signed his Orioles bat that we had gotten at an actual Baltimore Orioles game that we had been to with Grandma and Grandpa years earlier!! The team enjoyed swimming and playing dodge ball with one another. The coaches acknowledged each player and shared their contributions and growths for the season. Adam improved a great deal over the season and became a tough ball player. Way to go Adam, we can't wait for next season :)
