Stylin

Grandma brought Amelia her blanket and hospital outfit today! Her blanket has butterflies on one side and gingham on the other. My favorite is the pointed edges of the blankets.
She looked so cute in her outfit. The hospital staff loved her outfit and blanket. As she was taken to the nursery for tests today she was admired a lot.

Visitors :)

Amelia had lots of visitors today! As the kids came into our room Alex ran up to the bassinet and said "look baby"! When Grandma was holding her Alex put his finger in the hole of her binkie.
Adam is a great Big Brother! He did a very good job holding his sister.

Addison was so excited about seeing her sister. She didn't even go with the boys to play on the hospital playground.

Alex loved just being around his little sister! He is excited to be a Big Boy :)

Amelia loved being held by Grandam. Amelia is holding Grandma's finger and enjoying getting to meet everyone!!

Amelia's Birthday Party!

When my brothers and I were born my Dad was so excited to share his favorite things with us. On the top of the list...ice cream. Each of us got a little ice cream on our birthday. I have passed this tradition onto my children. These pictures are of Amelia's taste of ice cream.
She enjoyed the flavor! I let the ice cream get really soft and warm before she got a taste.

She savored it rolling her tongue in and out of her mouth a few times enjoying the experience :)

Amelia's Birthday

Amelia was born at 6:16 am this morning. She weighed in at 7lbs 5oz and was 20.5 inches long.
Amelia has already stolen her dad's heart. He was fun to watch today as he gave her first bath and rocked her to sleep.
Pretty in Pink!

She is a thinker with attitude :)

Mom and Amelia in the recovery room.

Amelia is happy and easy going. We will be sure to post more pictures tomorrow :)

One Week to Go!

Our new arrival will be here before we know it! They say that the best gifts come in small packages. We are truly excited for the arrival of our small bundle of joy. I was looking back at her ultrasounds today and reminiscing about our other little ones coming to live with us. I am very sure that this little spirit is supposed to be in our family. We were all a little surprised in April and I will admit it has taken me the longest to get used to the idea, but with a week left to go...ready or not here she comes :)
I am most excited for my sweet Addison. I think that having a sister will be great for her. I look forward to the friendship that they will share throughout their lives. I am very grateful for all of my brothers and their wonderful wives, but I must admit, I have always longed for a sister!!
The banner at the top of our blog is the sign that will be hanging from our little ones nursery bassinet at the hospital. I stole this idea from my cousins in Ohio and I have created one for each of my little ones so that they would feel special too!
We will post pictures as soon as we (Adam) can :) I would think that sometime next Wednesday night or Thursday morning might be a good time to check!!

Christmas Afternoon

Great Aunt Debbie gave the kids light sticks! Alex loved his and is still playing with his like it is a sword!!

Adam and Addison would turn off all the lights and watch them dance!!

Santa brought Addison a trampoline for Christmas this year. She cried when she opened the box...but once Uncle Jared put it together for her she started to enjoy her gift.

She even dressed up in her leotard and tutu to jump and spin. She loved watching her tutu twirl around :)

After and late night and early morning the best course of action....a nap!! We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday. We are very grateful for our family and friends. We wish you all a very Happy New Year. May this year truly hold health and happiness for each of you :)

Christmas Morning II

Santa brought Dadam braces this year! He had his first appointment on the 28th of December. Santa brought Jennie tickets to Michael Buble! The concert is in April so our little one will hopefully be sleeping through the night!!!

Alex really started to get the hang of opening gifts by the end of the morning! Here he is opening his Little People Farm!

Addison, Adam and Alex all love Addison's gift from Uncle Jared, Nanee and Aunt Donna. They get their blankets from their room and lay down on the floor of the cottage...it is funny!

Nanee enjoying her new photo of the little ones! We didn't take a family picture this year because our little family is about to change :)

Santa brought Adam a fish this year! The fish's name is Red...Not Mr. Red or anything else added...just RED! Santa was really smart though...he knew the fish's name and even brought a red tank!!

Christmas Morning

Adam showing off his new dinosaurs! He lines them up in the living room and lets them watch movies with him! Very cute :)

Alex loves his xylophone! This gift was music to his ears!!!

Addison loves to dress up and wear make up...she is set with lip gloss and fake nails for a while :)

Adam was excited to get a Wii this Christmas. Here he is opening the Star Wars Lego game.

Alex is a boys boy! He loves his tool set and drags it throughout the house :)

The First Look of Christmas

I was awoken on Christmas morning with Adam excited to see the tree had been moved and presents in their places! I thought that Alex and Addison were still asleep until I sat up and noticed Alex wrapped in him blankets on the floor just staring and pointing to the tree!!

He started to get bold and look at the gifts and tree....

He even started to open and take a few bows off packages!!

Addison joined the boys and they started to poke around a bit more!!

The adults finally caught up and stockings were passed out....let the opening of gifts begin!!

Christmas Eve

Our little ones enjoyed putting Santa's plate together and leaving a few carrots for Rudolf! They wanted a treat of their own though!! They had some hot cocoa with marshmallows and candy canes with Empanaditas.

Yum!

As you can see Addison and Adam have their Christmas PJ's on but Alex shed his as fast they were put on...I am open to suggestions:)

Christmas Eve festivities continued after the little ones were nestled in their beds! Uncle Jared is building a cottage for Addison in the playroom!! The elves finally retired around 1:00 am :)

Christmas Cookies for Santa

Adam woke up on Christmas Eve and said that we needed to make cookies for Santa! I still had one type of cookie I hadn't made this holiday season so we made cookies for Santa!!

Addison had a great time once she knew it was okay to get a little flour on ya while making cookies :)

Adam took things a little more seriously. He wanted everything to be right for the "Big Man"!

Addison took the taste test seriously though!!!!

Karoma Spice cookies or Bell cookies as the Lund family calls them were the cookies for Santa's plate this year!!
