Lil Adam's Talk

Adam sure is growing up fast! Yesterday he gave his second talk in Primary. He spoke on Missionary work. As hoped, he did a wonderful job. He spoke into the microphone so that everyone could hear him. He took CTR stickers to pass out to everyone and that was a big hit :)
I can't believe that as of next Monday he will be going to school all day. I sure am excited for him, but I will miss him a lot too. He is a wonderful kid that is full of potential. Wow, how time flies.

Take Me Out To The Ball Game...

Diamond Backs vs The Cubs...the hottest tickets in town. Team Adam had a great time both watching the game and taking a moment to play! Lil Adam and his dad sat through the first 4 innings. The jumbo tron advertised the kids baseball and of course that caught Lil Adam's attention. He was able to hit a ball and run the bases! Once their game was finished they got a pizza and hot dog and returned to the action on the field. They participated in the 7th inning stretch and called it a night. The boy returned home at 10:30 pm and Lil Adam was carried up stairs to a much needed rest.
As for the rest of the gang...we relaxed at home (ha ha). We made sugar cookies and made sure that we made it into bed on time :)

Keeping Cool in the Valley of the Sun

I found these shorts in Alex's dresser and quickly slipped them on. Once we were outside and he was wet I noticed they were a little long. Needless to say he was wearing his 5 year old brothers swimming shorts. I think they were a little heavy for him while wet!

Who needs Blizzard Beach! We have been cooling off this weekend with our very own water slide. All three little ones have enjoyed going down the slide and splashing into our pool at the bottom. Alex can even climb up the ladder to get to the top of the slide. The first time he started to climb I almost lost it... Speaking of big steps though, he is also starting to come down the stairs on his own. That will excite me more that you know! We hope you enjoy the pictures and your weekend.

Addison and Alex's Field Trip

Addison, Alex and I dropped Adam off for Pre-School today and headed to Sonoran Quest for Addison's blood to be drawn. She starts crying the moment we get into the parking lot these days. She is very wise to what is going on. After her blood was drawn we headed to a few grocery stores to easy the thought of her experience. When we were at Food City we stopped by the bakery and they were making fresh tortillas. Addison and Alex had a great time watching the women add the dough and pack the bags. We were able to get a fresh bag of tortillas to take home and the gentelmen behind the counter gave Addison and Alex hot tortillas to eat as we finished our shopping.
