I Can Take An Arm Full

And make a Treat, a Popcorn Ball that would be so sticky.
We had Family Night tonight and learned about what is good and bad for our bodies. We discovered that Popcorn Ball Treats are very good for our bodies. In moderation of course!!

Adam is a Soaring Star!

Friday afternoon I received an e-mail from Adam's teacher Mrs. Polzin. She wanted to let me know that Adam was going to be recognized at school on Monday.
" Adam also won the Soaring Eagle for this month, which means he was chosen as the person in the class who demonstrated the most exceptional behavior without being asked or bragging about it after wards. He will have his name mentioned over the loud speaker on Monday when they announce the Soaring Eagles to the whole school and have a certificate on the school board! Congratulations Mrs. Polzin!"
As a Mom I am so proud. I hope that as a student he is as well. I was so excited about this that I just had to take his picture in front of the board at school and share with each of you.

Happy First Day of Fall

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take the kids picture on the way to school today. Being that fall is here and our front yard is decorated for such an occasion. Adam was nice enough to load a truck with straw for me on Friday. Lil Adam has been asking when it is "Scarecrow" day for weeks now. Friday was finally that day!! We are hoping for cooler weather soon, but not holding our breath.

Arizona Showers

What better way to clean up after dinner than playing in the "rain". After the kids were finished roasting their dinner and dessert Dad created a rain shower. The kids had a blast becoming clean. We even saw a rainbow during our shower.

Alex is enjoying his brother's soda. Shhh

Daddy's Birthday

We had a great time celebrating our Dad's birthday! We roasted hot dogs and toasted marshmallows for s'mores. Adam and Addison toasted the most marshmallows, but I think it is safe to say that Adam ate the most. Addison just liked watching them catch on fire.

Alex really enjoyed his s'more! There is nothing like gooey melted chocolate with mashmallows. They are mmmm, mmmm good!

Tooth Fairy Tears

Last night as Little Adam was getting ready for bed, he and I prepared his tooth for the Tooth Fairy. As a mom I must not have done a good enough job explaining exactly what the Tooth Fairy's job is. We placed his tooth under his pillow and he went to bed excited. The Tooth Fairy of course came to visit Adam last night and left him a tooth brush, tooth paste and dollar.
I was shocked this morning at 5:30 am to wake up to tears. Adam was devastated to have his tooth gone. He threw his dollar down the stairs and gave his Dad his tooth paste and tooth brush. All he wanted was his tooth back. Dad offered to help Adam write a letter to the Tooth Fairy today to ask for Adam's Tooth back. I can only hope that the Tooth Fairy will get his letter and kindly return the tooth so that Adam can once again find meaning in this thing we call life!!!!!

Loosing and Gaining Teeth!

Lucky Charms was the magic trick to Adam loosing his tooth! He has been wiggling it for about two weeks now and this morning over breakfast it finally happened! He was very excited and could not wait until school to tell all his friends and his teacher. He is excited to have the tooth fairy visit him tonight and leave a special treat for him. He sure is growing up fast.

Alex on the other hand is gaining teeth. He currently has 6, but is working hard to bring in a few more. I think it is safe to say that everyone will be happy to have the teething behind us! But what a great smile right!!

Let's Play Catch Up!

My Little Mother...Addison has really started playing the part of our Little Mother. She is a bossy little thing too. She pushes her stroller around the house and bosses her brothers around. She has a strong spirit and amazing will power. She will really go far in life I think!

Make up Make up Everywhere!!!Addison has been enjoying her make up that her Nanee bought her. She had some free time and decided to give herself and her brother a make over. This was on of those times I was grateful to have a camera handy.

Addison Celebrated her 3rd birthday on Saturday the 6th. She had a princess party and enjoyed being the center of attention. All the kids dressed up for the occasion and as usual mom had fun decorating the cake!
Addison made out as a bandit as always. From clothes to princess dolls and castles the day was truly magical.

Labor Day
was a relaxing day full of swimming and BBQ. The kids had a great time with Dad in the pool. We were able to enjoy the family time since life is busy as of late.
