Baseball Season Has Officially Started!

Opening Day 2012

Adam's team participated in the Opening Day Ceremonies this morning.  Adam ran out on the field when his name was called!!  All of the kids looked great in their clean uniforms.  Our game was later today and if you see the white pants you won't be surprised by the after game picture :)

First Game of the Season

Adam had a fantastic first game.  He started the game playing catcher.  He was hit with the ball on his arm while catching, but he recovered and kept playing!  Adam is playing with the pitching machine this year so I am sure the pitch packed some punch.  

Adam struck out his first two times up to bat.  He hit on his third time up to bat :)  The ball when right to first base though and he was called out!  Later in the game Adam had  a great hit to short stop.  I don't have a video of that hit though.  His games are 2 hours this year and that was to long for the younger kids.  Adam also had a great play in the field.  The short stop missed the ball and Adam grabbed it and threw a perfect throw to second base!!!  Way to go Adam, it is going to be a fun season!!
