Dad helped the family create our pinewood car! Lil Adam thought it would be great if our car looked like Lightning McQueen. If you look on the cement you can see Dad's guide or point of reference for his project :)

This derby was the most official I have ever been to. They had a computerized track that kept racing times and created the competition brackets.
We loved watching our little car go...he just never made it all the way down the track!
Our family had a great time and Lil Adam was very proud of his Lightning McQueen :)

How fun, I've never heard of a family derby. did your activities committee do it? Ours use the same official tracks. Hayden would love to do that, but I told him he has to wait a few more years!
