First Daddy Daughter Date!

Adam surprised Addison today by coming home early and taking her to Hannah Montana. Adam had asked her last Friday, but she really wasn't feeling well. Today when he got home and asked her she got a big smile on her face and jumped up and down. She needed to clarify that it was just her though. "Dad and me, not Adam or Alex right". I hope she can sit through the whole movie... Way to go Dad!!!

Growing Up!

Alex is becoming a big boy this week! Monday during nap time he got out of his crib. I guess this was his way of telling me it was time to grow up. After nap time didn't happen we went and picked out his bedding for the bunk beds in Adam's room. Alex picked out Mickey Mouse of course :) Last night he climbed into his bed and went right to sleep. He wasn't that excited about nap time today, but I think the excitement will have to wear off. Our other new is quite big as well. Today Alex has gone potty in the potty twice now!!! Way to go Alex :) You are growing up right before my eye!!

Take Steps 2009

Team Addison!!! This picture is missing a few members, but we had a great team this year. Thank you for taking time out of your Saturday to support our family :)

Everyone had fun meeting people! All of the professional sports mascots were there. Alex enjoyed playing with the Coyote we didn't get our camera fast enough though. Addison took a picture with Miss Teen Arizona, she has Crohn's Disease too.

Our team did a great job walking. We walked a few laps of the University of Phoenix Stadium.

Addison Berniger & Addison Betenbough have become great friends! They are both 3 years old and they both have Crohn's Disease. Both Addison's enjoyed walking together and getting their arms painted and watching magic tricks!

After the walk we enjoyed taking pictures at the finish line and playing in the bounce houses. Mommy even played a few games :) Our day was wonderful. Thank you to everyone that supported our family. We are very blessed to have so many friends and family that support us in our battle against Crohn's Disease.

Our Trip- By The Numbers

Our drive home yesterday was filled with lots of reminiscing of our past two days. Adam thought it would be fun to put the Analyst's spin on things. I forgot to mention in my previous posts that Lil Adam started crying 16 miles before home because he had to use the potty so badly. When he was doing the dead on the side of the road a car even honked!! He was so excited about the experience. When he got back in the car the first thing he said was "Dad did you see how far I was watering the bush?" Ah boys!!!

Disneyland

Our family enjoyed the California Sunshine for Easter this year! Thursday morning when we woke up we found a letter from the Easter Bunny. He left us a map and told us to follow it to our Easter Surprise. Little did we know that we would end up at Disneyland. This was everyone's first visit except Dad. We had a great time exploring and enjoying the Disney Magic!

Teacups are always a Mom & Kids highlight!!

Alex was able to ride for the first time. He picked up on the spinning right away!

Adam & Alex both attempted pulling the sword from the stone. They didn't become Kings, but they will always be Prince's to me!

Addison loves to ride the big rides. She and Adam both enjoyed the Gadget's roller coaster in Toon Town!

Disneyland II

Our family outside of Disneyland! The landscaping is always picture worthy!!

Addison was so excited to be in the Pink Dumbo :)

Adam just liked having the controls!!

Fun food and snacks!

Even Dad had fun riding roller coasters this trip! The kids loved riding Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain & The Madderhorn with their Dad.

California Adventure

Outside of the California Adventure Park there are huge letters spelling California. We are abbreviating for the blog!!

Playhouse Disney was fun for all three of our little ones! Lil Adam really didn't want to go, he felt he should be riding rides not watching the kids show. He found himself singing along and having fun though :)

Alex enjoyed seeing Lightning McQueen and Madder close up! He was really interested in looking at their eyes.

Getting to touch them was exciting, but there was so much else to do and see!!!

Dad and Adam had fun on the Grizzly Water Rapids. Addison was just a little to short...she was sad, but worked through her disappointment through window shopping at the closest gift shop :) We enjoyed watching Aladdin, seeing Playhouse Disney & Talking to Crush. The water ride and California Screaming were fun too. As for the rest of the park...maybe it will be better when all the redoing is done!
