The Albuquerque Zoo

This chair has truly become a growth chart for my little ones! They are growing up so fast and just look at those smiles :)

Uncle Jared and Daddy wanted their pictures taken too!

Nanee and Alex checking out the Zebras!

Adam and Alex were making their own music dancing on the metal bench and Addison enjoyed the moment of shade without holding her umbrella!!

Alex had fun playing in a little cave over by the giraffes. His smile says it all :)

Sandia Peak

Phoenix doesn't have a lot of fall colors this time of year! We thought it would be fun to take our little ones to the top of Sandia Peak and experience the changing of the seasons.

Addison was ready to climb right over the rocks to the other side of the mountain!! As you can see Alex was thrilled to find lots of sticks to play with and Lil Adam was posing as "Alex the Lion" as much as possible!!

Our view from the top of the peak was breathtaking. Albuquerque has grown a lot since we moved five years ago.

Addison and Daddy enjoying the great view!

The foliage was beautiful. We really enjoyed experiencing fall first hand.

Rio Grande Botanic Garden/Aquarium

Addison, Emily & Alex worked up an appetite walking the aquarium and botanic gardens! After taking time to feed the ducks and fish they had snacks themselves!!

The Japanese Garden was one of the big highlights! Alex and the other little ones climbed up on a big rock and jumped in the Dad/Uncle Superstar's arms!!

I was very impressed that while waking across the steam none of the little feet or bodies got wet!

Uncle Jared found his rock to climb, but opted not to jump into Uncle Superstar's arms!!

He jumped into Ashley's instead!!

Columbus Day Weekend 2009

Arizona was the destination of choice for Columbus Day!

The shopping put smiles on everyone's faces!!

Grandma and the Grandkids had a great time in the kitchen making caramel apple, cookies and other fall treats!

As you can see, Jacob enjoyed eating his treats :)

What a great smile!!

Latest Ultrasound

Our little girl is very shy! We had an Ultrasound on the 9th of October and once again she wouldn't show her face. She does however love sleeping on her tummy in a very tight fetal position.

We know she has a good genetic chance of being tall, but the ultra sound tech found it very interesting that her foot is the same length as her leg from the bottom of the knee to her ankle.

We are going to do one more ultrasound in about 5 weeks to hopefully see her face! Wish us luck :)

General Conference Weekend

Happy Conference Weekend!! Our family always celebrates this semi-annual event with a breakfast consisting of waffles & ice cream! This year we enjoyed a lot of good food all weekend long. Dadam made homemade salsa for chip and dip. We had a veggie tray, chicken enchiladas and beans, a sub sandwich, and who could forget the cowboy cookies and pizza!! Good thing we had two days to enjoy it all :)

Our little ones enjoying their ice cream and waffles and saying Happy Conference Day!!

We all made great use of the two hour breaks between sessions!

This is a picture of Jared and Adam changing the distributor cap and plugs on Jared's car!!

We had a wonderful time this conference weekend. Not only were we physically nourished, but spiritually as well. We are very blessed to have such inspired information given to us not once, but twice a year. While we were enjoying the final session of conference today we even got a call for someone to look at our home. We have truly been blessed this conference weekend!

Family Pinewood Derby

Dad helped the family create our pinewood car! Lil Adam thought it would be great if our car looked like Lightning McQueen. If you look on the cement you can see Dad's guide or point of reference for his project :)

Little Adam registering and weighing in Lightning McQueen! There were 70 cars registered for our race. Each car participated in 4 races.

This derby was the most official I have ever been to. They had a computerized track that kept racing times and created the competition brackets.

We loved watching our little car go...he just never made it all the way down the track!

Our family had a great time and Lil Adam was very proud of his Lightning McQueen :)
